Anna Waring Holiday Sing-A-Long

As an annual event, Anna Waring has helped to ring in the holiday season with a sing-a-long in the music room. Students were entertained and inspired by Mrs. Waring's piano playing and great spirit! Many former Old Town elementary staff members attended the event....do you see your teacher?

The Nutcracker Performance

3rd, 4th, and 5th graders recently performed the musical The Nutcracker in front of a standing-room only audience. These students have been practicing under the direction of Kathy Stoup, who is also the OTES After School Program director. The wonderful performance had choreogaphed dance routines with students wearing beautiful costumes--most of which were made by Mrs. Stoup and her husband!! Congratulations to all!!! Repeat performances were done during the school day for the rest of the school.

Caroling at the Meadows

OTES K-Kids joined up with the LMS Builders Club and sang holiday carols at the Old Town Meadows of the afternoon of Friday, December 15.

Hoop Stars!

On Saturday, December 2nd our gym was used by the Orono-Old Town Recreation Departments to host the Elks Hoop Shoot Competition. We had several OTES students representing our school and making us proud. Students had to shoot from a foul line and make shots that contributed to a total score. The scores were added up and used to determine the overall winners.
Our Hot Shot Stars were Amber C., Katelyn C., Nikki Q., Jordyn D., and Ashley C. We're proud to have our future Old Town High School Basketball stars walk the halls of OTES!
