The Maine State Police Career Program

The Maine State Police will be hosting a three-day Career Orientation Program to be held on July 29, 30 and 31, 2009.  The Program is open to any High School Junior or Senior who may be interested in learning about a career with the Maine State Police. Lodging and meals will be provided at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro to those selected and invited from a pool of submitted applications. There is no fee associated with the program, and overnight stay will be a requirement. If interested the paperwork in guidance. Deadline is June 1.

 

College Acceptances

Congratulations to Dan LeBreton for his acceptance into Thomas College major in Sport Management. He has been selected to receive a Dean’s Scholarship of $5,000.

Yearbooks are here!

The Old Town High School 2009 yearbook - a limited edition has arrived!
Extra copies will go on sale Thursday morning in room 209 and during lunch.  Cost is $65.  Supply is limited so act fast!  See Mrs. White with questions.

JROTC Uniform Turn-In is THIS WEEK! (26-29 May)

Attention All Cadets and their Parents/Guardians:  All JROTC uniforms must be turned in this week during JROTC classes!  (26-29 May)  Please remember to bring in ALL uniform items!   We will not be collecting ANY BDU items.  You DO NOT have to dry clean your uniforms, however t-shirts and socks should be laundered before turn-in.  If you have any questions regarding turn-in, see LTC Lauria or MSG Olsen immediately!  Do not turn in uniforms at the supply room.  Uniforms will only be accepted in class. 

Talent Show and Elections

All participants of the talent show, please be at the high school by 6:30
for sound check.

All students that want to be in Student Council or a class officer, please
pick up a signature sheet in the office or from Mr. Curtis. These will be
due no later than Friday the 29th of May.
