Dr. Herbert L. Rackliff Jr. Memorial Athletic Award - Applications are now available

This is an annual award to be given to a senior athlete, male or female, who has displayed outstanding determination and achievement in athletics at Old Town High School.  The recipient need not be pursuing a post-secondary education.  Competition shall be encouraged in the winning of this annual award, and maximum publicity shall be accorded each winner of the award.  Please see Mrs. Lodge in the main office for an application.

SAT Information

This is just a reminder for junior students and their parents. The SAT will
be administered at Old Town High School on Saturday, May 3., 2008. This is
considered a regular school day. Any student who does not attend the SAT
administration will not be allowed to attend the OTHS prom held that
evening.

This is an important exam. Please take it seriously.

v Please arrive at school at 7:30 a.m.

v Be sure to wear layers

v If you don¹t have your registration ticket, we have a record of it and
you will be able to test

v Bring 2 #2 pencils

v Bring a calculator

v Bring a snack

v Some snacks will be provided by the school during one of the testing
breaks

New Scholarships

Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship:

If you will be attending the University of Maine – Orono in the fall of 2007, you are eligible to apply for the Balanced Man Scholarship Award. Three $500. Awards will be presented to those best exemplifying the Balanced Man Ideal that consists of the four traits, are you a Leader, Scholar, Athlete, and Gentleman. There is no obligation to join Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at any point during the scholarship procedure

Seniors - Graduation Announcements 5/5/08

Attention Seniors - - - The Jostens Representative will be available on Monday, May 5^th at 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. to deliver your Graduation Announcements and Products to all Seniors who placed their orders earlier in the year.  Seniors are reminded to bring the appropriate funds to pay their balance owed, before they can pick up their Graduation orders.  Personal checks cannot be accepted.  Other seniors wishing to order Graduation Announcements and Graduation Products should see the Jostens Representative at this time.
