Nursing Discovery Camp

Nursing Discovery Camp sponsored by the University of Maine at Fort Kent and Northern Maine Medical Center.  There will be two sessions, first from June 23 – 26, second July 7 – 10^th. Eligibility: High School students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year. For more information see guidance.

MEDEA SCHOLARSHIP

Eligible             Maine resident who has been instructed in Driver Education by an Instructor that is a member of MEDEA.

Amount            (2) $500.00 – 1 for any student and 1 for MEDEA Member’s family.

Deadline           April 15

 

SENATOR JOEL ABROMSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Eligible             Recipients will be chosen based on their involvement and leadership in promoting equality for LGBT people in their schools and communities and their commitment and concrete plans for continued work to promote equality in Maine.

Amount            $1,000.

Selection          Equality Maine Foundation

The Bangor Daily News is looking for early morning newspaper delivery carriers here in Old Town.  There are currently routes available in the Prentiss and Brunswick Street area, and the Lincoln and Wilson Street area.  Please come to the office for more information or call 990-8075.

Spring sports

Attention Old Town High School Athletes. Spring Sports tryouts will begin on
March 31 for Boys & Girls Tennis, Boys & Girls Outdoor Track, Baseball, and
softball. All paperwork can be picked up in the main office and needs to be
handed in to the coaches the first day of tryouts (March 31). Good Luck!!!
