Yes there are some things you can do before you call:

Computer acting odd?

1. Reboot the computer. (Yes this really does help a lot of the time.)

2. Check the cables on the back of your computer. If you can get to them, press them in firmly to make sure they are making contact. (do not unplug mouse or keyboard cables while the computer is on) You can also shut the computer down and un-plug the cables and blow out any dust and check for bent pins then plug them back in and restart the computer.

Can't Print?

1. Turn off then back on.

2. Check for bits of paper or dust bunnies.

3. Check to see if you are out of ink. (Faded printouts, loss of one or more colors)

Can't login?

1. Make sure CAPS LOCK is off

2. Slowly re-type your User Name and Password.

3. Check the network cable. (The one that looks like a big phone cable)

4. Check for lights on the network card.

None of these work?
