Welcome back to another school year at L.M.S., home of the
proud Coyotes.  We are a group of concerned parents and teachers that gather once a month to make decisions,  give our opinions, raise funds, volunteer in the school, work on projects, and in general, support L.M.S. staff and students.  We enjoyed a successful year in our fundraising department and will be able to fund Science camp for another year as well as many other programs and projects.  We have a link on the L.M.S. web site where we post meeting minutes and other ongoing events so be sure to check it out.  Be watching for our first fundraiser of the year to come home in September.  We know parents are sometimes hit hard when there are multiple children in school but please realize many big events in the L.M.S. students learning are funded by these efforts so we as a group thanks you for your support through out the school year.  We do have an ongoing fundraiser which doesn't require you to buy anything and gets us free $$$.  It is collecting the Box Tops for Education coupons off various food products.  Please collect them and send them to school with your child and each month the home room with the most is awarded a treat. Maybe parents can enlist the help of neighbors and grandparents in collecting these,  even if they live out of state.  We would like to invite all parents to join our group.  We meet in the L.M.S. library the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 but our first meeting will be on Sept. 12th, at 6:30.  See you there
