THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITES SUPPORTED BY PEAKs ARE PRESENTLY TAKING PLACE AT LMS

Box Tops for Education--We ask the students bring in the box top labels found on many food products. Ask friends, neighbors or relatives to cut and donate the labels. It helps if they are cut neatly but we will take them anyway they come in.  Please help your child’s homeroom and ultimately the school by taking the time to send them in with your child.  Each label is worth 10 cents and they add up fast!!! 

SODA TABS--Mrs. Quimby heads up this project. We don't receive money for this one but the tabs are donated.  Please encourage your children to collect the tabs off cans for the benefit of others.  Send them in with your child or to the office. 

WATER AND CANDY SALES--Watch for some of our PEAKs members selling these items at the school dances, concerts and sporting events.

SUPPORTING THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM--parent volunteers are being asked to help due to the great turn out of kids interested in the many programs offered.  They are tasked with homework help and just being an extra set of hands for activities.  PEAKS also contributes $1500.00 dollars towards the operational costs of the after school program. This year the program will be happening between February and APril vacation.

Talent Show dinner - In April, just when the mud season blues are getting to you, LMS hosts their talent show. This evening is a wonderful family event with PEAKs putting on the Spaghetti Dinner. This year the date for Talent Show is April 15. Mr. Keane will call for auditions in early March.
