1. FINANCIAL UPDATE: Treasurer not present. John inquired why only a partial payment was made on last years expenses.  He will contact Beth Mills about this. OPEN

2. Spring Fundraiser- grossed about $4000.00 /we get half.  CLOSED

3. Fall Fundraiser-Kathy will contact Kermit at the same company and set up Fall fundraiser to kick off at assembly on Sept 28th,2007.  we are requesting he be there for the kick off assembly.  Need instruction sheet to parents on details of fundraiser to include who to write the checks to (PEAKs) and date due back.  OPEN

4. Teacher requests: none

5. Spaghetti Dinner: Set for May 11th.  All available PEAKs members will be on hand to help cook/serve and clean up .Details are all taken care of.  Results--OPEN

6. Teacher Appreciation Dinner: CLOSED

7.  New member recruitment:  June will attend the parent meetings for incoming 6th graders and inform them of  PEAKs and ask them to join.  June will put an article in the newsletter. We will request volunteers for committee positions of new members.  Possibly inviting them to share a position if they don't want full responsibility.  OPEN 

8.  Elections:  Tentatively pending first meeting new member inquiry: Anna and Kathy will co-chair.  June will be secretary, Beth will continue to be treasurer.  OPEN

9.  Regional Science fair was canceled due to lack of participating schools. CLOSED

10. updating of the peaks web link was requested. OPEN

11. Next meeting:   FIRST MEETING OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR-THURSDAY, SEPT. 20, 2007 IN THE LMS LIBRARY @ 7:00
