8th grade class trip is about $1,000 commitment
Science Camp bill received $8,535.31—all voted to pay bill now—John will email Beth for payment

Dances: Snowball dance 1/25-Heidi/Louise/Andrea will be there—Andrea will ensure we have supplies—John to follow up with Beth Morin on pictures

Future fundraisers—
Andrea brought a fundraiser on selling Sterling Silver—Maine company would get 40% profit in December-she will try to get someone to come to Feb meeting to present
Heidi  brought up a basket Bingo (other schools do them), Heidi also brought up chocolate bunnies to sell for easter
Louise brought up “tricky Tray”—like a raffle—people can purchase tickets to drop in for different prizes

We decided to do a raffle of some sort at Science Fair and to sell food—March 27th

Box tops—has the check come in yet?—should have been received early Jan ($60)  


John introduced study wiz---wants people to test it and tell him what we can do with it at next meeting—login to Studywiz.mlti.org


Helped needed—with the Welcome to LMS folders—need to photocopy info and put into packets—suggestion was made to do it at the first meeting of the year—Andrea Gifford will take lead

We need to increase our parent involment in PEAKS and at our monthly meetings—below are the dates for the rest of the year-please speak to friends of other students to get some more parents involved!

2008 meetings--- 2/13, 3/13,4/10, 5/8-off site all meetings 7-8pm
