Travel Directions to Schools

Brewer Middle School Basketball: Take the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge to Brewer, turn left onto Main St. Take a right on Parker St- Go straight up the hill and turn left onto Somerset St. The school is on your right. The gym is towards the rear on the left: side of the building.

Brewer Middle School Soccer Track and Baseball: Fling Street Field. Take a left on to Maple St. from Main St. (next to the Police Station). This will bring you right up to the field. Softball- Take Acme Road off from Wilson Street- Field is behind Brewer Motor Inn. Track- Go past Brewer High School on Parkway South. Go over Interstate overpass. This road will lead you right ot the Pendleton School, which is where the track is.

Bucksport Basketball/ Soccer /Baseball/ Softball/: Games are played at the new Middle School: Follow Rt. 15 into Bucksport. Go through the traffic light, past Hannaford, up the hill and past Dunkin' Donuts. Take the next left on Nicholson Ave. At the top of the hill, the road bears left, Health Center is on the right. Take a right onto Miles lane (white sign says "Child Care Center"). The school is at the end of this road (you pass the Miles lane School).

William S. Cohen School (Bangor): 941-6230. Take Hogan Road exit 187 (traveling I-95 North take a right, I-95 South take a left). Turn right on Mt. Hope Ave. at the traffic light by Varney’s Auto Sales. Baseball is played at the field on Mount Hope. For basketball, take a left on Howard St (approx. 1/2 mile). Turn right at the stop sign into Garland St. The school is on the right, parking and gym are in the rear. This also applies for track.

James F. Doughty School (Bangor): 941-6220. Take the Hammond St. exit 183(traveling I-95 North take a right, I-95 South take a left). Take a right onto Pier St. after approx. 3/4 of a mile (There will be a yellow and green "Best Buy Auto Sales'; sign on your left opposite the turn). the school will be. on your right at the third stop sign. The gym entrance is the entrance furthest to the right on the front of the building; soccer fields are behind the school. Baseball is played at the Cameron Field complex on Mt. Hope Ave (directions to Mt. Hope are included in Cohen School directions). .Softball field is on the left side of the front of. the building.

Dexter Middle School Baseball/Softball: 924-5571. Get off 1-95 at Newport, take Route 7 through Corinna to Dexter. In Dexter, there will be a Rite-Aid on your right and a bakery on your left. Turn left there onto Lincoln St. (There are Dexter School signs). Go through 2 stop signs, the road bends. and the game is at Crosby park which will be on the right... .

Girls. Turn left at the 2nd stop sign, on to Ripley Rd, about 1/4 mile at Bud Elms Field.

Ellsworth: Take Rt. lA towards Ellsworth. Go through the traffic light at the Ellsworth

High School (which will be on your left). Take the next right (just before the Mill Mall)

onto Forest Ave. After 3/10 of a mile (you will pass the track), the driveway to the middle school will be on your left:.

Troy A. Howard Middle School (Belfast Football): 338-3320. Travel through Hampden, Searsport, etc. into Belfast. Go over the overpass. At the intersection beyond MacDonalds, you should be in the light lane to turn right on to Rt. 52. The school is 1 to 11/2 miles on the right. '

Leonard Middle School Basketball (Old Town): Games are played at the new Old Town Elementary School - On Stillwater Ave, take a right before the light at the Hannaford shopping center onto the new school campus.

Leonard Middle School Soccer, Baseball, and Softball (Old Town): Take 1-95 to Stillwater Ave, exit 51. Turn right and follow Stillwater Ave. past the Hannaford shopping center. Bear right at the fork and take the first right onto Jefferson 5t. Take the first left onto Oak 5t, the school will be on your right.

Leonard Middle School Football and Field Hockey (Old Town): Take I-95 to Stillwater Ave., exit 51. If coming from the South, take a right. If coming from the North, take a left. Follow Stillwater Ave. past the Hannaford shopping center, about 3 miles from interstate. Bear left at the fork in the road. You will see the high school as you go down the hill. That is where we play our games.

Mattanawcook (Lincoln): Take 1-95 north to exit 55, turn right and stay on this road about 4, miles. At the blinking light for Rt. 2, take a left: The road will come to a "T" at a traffic light facing the lake. Turn left onto Main St. At the fork, turn right on Rt. 6 and, right again onto Academy St. The school is straight ahead. 0

MDI High School- (Bar Harbor) This is where the track meets are held.

Millinocket: Basketball games are held at the Stearns High School gym: Take 1-95 north to exit 56, mile 237. Turn left onto Rt. 151 and travel about 10 miles through Medway, East Millinocket and into Millinocket. Stay on 157 into town, which becomes Central St. Go through the traffic light near McDonalds, down the hill, over a small bridge and take the second right onto State Street. The middle school and the high school share the same campus.

Reeds Brook Middle School (Hampden): Take 1A into Hampden, go through the traffic light. Baseball is played at Bordick Field, which is right across from the auto parts store, where the Superintendent's office is located. Track is also on this road. . For basketball, go past the Rite Aid shopping center approx. 1/2 mile. There will be a cemetery on the left; turn into the driveway for Reeds Brook on your right. Drive past the school- parking and the gym are around to the far side.

Rockland Middle School (Football): When you enter Rockland from Bangor, pass Wal-Mart. At MacDonalds, turn right, go straight through the first light. At the blinking yellow light, go around the comer onto Broadway. Follow Broadway through 4 or 5 lights. Rockland Middle School will be on your right (you go past the high school). Take a right immediately after, the Middle 5c;hool onto Thomaston St. The field is around the school.

..Corinna Elementary School (Football versus Nokomis) Go down I-95 until the Newport exit, #157 I believe. Travel on Route 7 into Corinna. Take a right in downtown Corinna, then follow Route 222. School is on Stetson Drive.
