LEONARD MIDDLE SCHOOL

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

EARLY SPRING SESSION

7 MARCH- 17 APRIL

I refuse to call this the late winter session!  Maybe by calling this the early spring session we can will it to arrive a bit earlier.   As you know there have been  some changes to our program this year due to extending our school day.  The time that students will be dismissed for the bus will remain the same.  Our one hour of academic time will now begin at 2:25 and end at 3:25.  There will be a snack that is offered for students before going to their enrichment activity.  Enrichment activities will begin at 3:30 and come to a close at 4:30.  Students will be dismissed to the bus or parent at that time.  It is important that students make arrangements for rides prior to their afternoon activities.  The bus, will always be available for students.  Mentoring students may arrange to ride the bus as well.  In addition, if at any point during the school year your child stays after with their regular classroom teacher, they may also ride the bus home.  Everyone at L.M.S. has a “Whatever It Takes” attitude when it comes to learning!  We also like to incorporate some FUN!  Sign up for the after school program and you will see what I mean!

                                                                                                          Sincerely,

                                                                                                          Trish Kelley
