Motion by Mrs. Conary, seconded by Mr. Sagner to approve the above listed policies for second reading.

B. Review
of rates of compensation for substitutes in compliance with School Board Policy
GCGA.
Recommended Action: That the Board set rates of compensation for
substitute teachers for the 2007-2008 school year as follows:
Temporary Substitute: $65/day
Long Term Substitute: $100/day
Motion by Ms. Judd, seconded by Mrs. Conary to approve the above rates for substitute teachers.

Discipline Process – OTHS

D. Appointment
of School Board representatives to the Organization Planning Committee.
Recommended Action: That the Board appoint Dave Wollstadt and
James Dill to the Regional Planning Committee.
Motion by Mrs. Conary, seconded by Ms. Judd to approve the Organization Planning Committee members.

E. Letter(s)
of Intent as required by Public
Law, Chapter 240 part XXXX of the 123rd Maine Legislature.
Recommended Action: That the Board authorize the Superintendent
of Schools to file Letter(s) of Intent as required by Public Law, Chapter 240 part XXXX of the 123rd
Maine Legislature indicating ongoing exploration of administrative
consolidation with the following:
SAUs included in the proposed RSU: Old Town, Orono, Alton, Bradley, Greenbush, Milford, Veazie.
The Superintendent shall also indicate to the Commissioner that Old Town would honor its historic ties to LaGrange should towns in an SAD be allowed to leave the SAD and join another RSU.
